India Westbrooks – also known as India Love – was born in California USA, on 3 February 1996 – her zodiac sign is Aquarius, she holds American nationality, and is of African-American, Indian, Creole and Spanish descent. Early life, sisters, and education
India spent her childhood in California, alongside her father Warren and her mother Candy, and her four sisters named Morgan, Bree, Brooke, and Crystal – she also has a brother. India’s parents are owners of the cigarette company “Royal Blunts”, while they’re believed to have multiple other businesses. India’s sister Morgan is the owner of a tanning salon, Bree is a plus size model, Brooke has launched her own fashion brand called B. Lauren, and Crystal is a model, and the only sister who’s graduated from college.
India grew up being influenced by her sisters who are all social media stars, and she wanted to become popular on the internet, too – she was 15 years old when she launched her account on the Tumblr platform in 2011, while attending the Santiago High School in California at the time. India didn’t enroll at college, but chose to work on her online career.
Career as a TV personality and a social media star
India is the youngest and most popular among her sisters. Her Twitter account has over 200,000 followers of her 3,600 tweets. Her YouTube channel launched on 31 January 2018 counts 5,000 subscribers, and her videos have been viewed 5.5 million times – she has recently written a song with the famoussinger Will. I. Am. entitled “#Pretty”, while she’s also released two singles – “Talk Yo sh*t” and “Loco”. In 2015, India’s modelling career was launched, and she’s posed for numerous worldwide popular clothing brands, including Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren – she has also worked with several make-up brands such as Giorgio Armani Beauty and Clinique.
Five sisters who have all become social media stars attracted the attention of the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Networks media house, which decided to create a reality TV show which would follow the sisters’ lives, entitled “The Westbrooks”. It was released on 14 October 2015, and on 10 March 2016 it began airing on the BET France channel. People often compare the Westbrooks sisters to the Kardashian family, which is something they dislike, as India believes her family to be unique.
Love life and boyfriends
India has been in two long relationships. She began dating professional football player Ron Robinson in May 2011, and the two were together until September 2013 when they called it quits. Her second long relationship was with Jayceon Terrell Taylor, a rapper better known by his stage name The Game. The two met after Jayceon contacted India on Instagram, and after nearly a month of chatting, they agreed to go out on a date. Having dated for a few months, India and Jayceon went their separate ways after he began insulting her, and accusing her in the media of being unfaithful.
India has been in many short relationships, with Cliff Dixon, a baseball player who was shot dead on 21 March 2019; Justin Combs, an actor and a football defensive back;, and rapper Soulja Boy, among others. Rumor has it that India also dated the popular rapper Drake for a short period of time – the two were spotted together by a paparazzi.
India’s latest relationship was with Sheck Wes who is a popular rapper – they began dating in December 2018, but broke up in March 2019, since when she’s apparently been single.
Hobbies and other interests
India likes tattoos, and has had several inked onto her skin. She’s an animal lover, and often uploads pictures of herself and her Maltese pet dog onto her Instagram account.
India is a shopaholic and goes shopping for clothes almost every day – she considers herself to be a fashionista, and will often share her outfit combinations with her fans on her social media accounts.
She enjoys spending her spare time in nature having picnics, or lying at the beach under the sun and tanning her skin – she has learned how to ride a skateboard, and has a personal trainer.
