Highlights from actions by the Sierra Vista Police Department:

Aug. 20

• 7:07 p.m. — A guest at Sun Canyon Inn, 260 N. Garden Ave., reported a burglary. Two credit cards were taken from the guest’s room.

• 9:50 p.m. — A man, 36, was arrested on a warrant out of the Huachuca City Police Department for failure to comply after police were called to the 4500 block of Campus Drive on a report of domestic violence. He was booked into the county jail.

Aug. 21

• 1:42 a.m. — A man, 22, was arrested on an accusation of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 4600 block of East Highway 90. He was cited and released to the Military Police.

• 8:16 a.m.— A two-vehicle noninjury accident was reported in the 1500 block of East Fry. The vehicles briefly blocked the roadway. One vehicle was towed.

• 9:48 a.m. — Jeffery B. Childers, 25, was arrested on an allegation of possession of narcotics (Percoset and morphine), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and promoting prison contraband (placing marijuana in his pants) and Nathaniel J. Williams, 28, was arrested on an allegation of theft stemming from an incident reported July 25. Williams was accused of stealing the UCP collection box from the counter at the Circle K on North Garden. Childers was booked into the county jail. Williams was cited and released.

• 10:42 a.m. — A two-vehicle (motorcycle vs. car) injury accident was reported at Wilcox and Coronado. One individual was transported to the hospital for treatment. The motorcycle was towed from the scene.

• 11:23 a.m. — The Buena High School SRO cited and released a juvenile to their parent on an allegation of possession of marijuana.

• 11:36 a.m. — A resident in the 3000 block of Willow reported threatening/intimidating. The case remains under further investigation at this time.

• 12:19 p.m. — A two-vehicle noninjury accident was reported at Buffalo Soldier Trail and Avenida Cochise. The collision did not block the roadway.

• 2:21 p.m. — Stephen P. Amarillas, 26, was arrested on a warrant out of Bisbee alleging contempt of court after a traffic stop in the 3100 block of East Fry. Amarillas was booked into the county jail.

• 3:07 p.m. — A resident reported a hit-and-run accident at Safeway, 2190 E. Fry Blvd. The suspect vehicle is primered.

• 5:17 p.m. — Itzel Guerrero-Navarro, 18, was arrested on an allegation of shoplifting after police were called to Walmart, 657 N. Hwy. 90. Guerrero-Navarro was cited and released.

• 5:40 p.m. — A resident in the 800 block of Calle Gardenia reported a burglary. The house was broken into during the course of the past year.

• 6:26 p.m. — An employee at the Garden Canyon Mobile Home Park, 405 S. Garden, reported theft. Copper tubing was cut and stolen.

• 7:23 p.m. — Breanna M. Trujillo, 20, and Nichole Garcia, 25, were arrested on an allegation of shoplifting after police were called to Sears, 2250 El Mercado Loop. Both were booked into the county jail.

• 8:25 p.m. — A juvenile was referred and released on an allegation of shoplifting after police were called to Walmart, 657 N. Highway 90.

• 9:11 p.m. — An assault was reported in the 700 block of South Seventh Street. The case remains under further investigation.

• 9:14 p.m. — A 14-year-old reported disorderly conduct at Cinemark, 2175 El Mercado Loop. The case remains under further investigation.

• 10:08 p.m. — Andre G. Taylor, 25, was arrested on an allegation of extreme driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at Ivey and Highway 90. Taylor was cited and released to military police.

• 10:39 p.m. — An employee at the Circle K, 720 S. Seventh, reported shoplifting. A white male took a Slim Jim and soda.

• 11:19 p.m. — A report of sexual misconduct with a minor was reported. The case is under investigation by Special Operations.

Aug. 22

• 1:19 a.m. — Justin L. Thomas, 18, was arrested on allegations of minor consumption of alcohol and false information to law enforcement and a juvenile was referred and released on a curfew violation after police were called to the Sierra Carmichael School, 800 S. Carmichael, on a report of subjects being disruptive. Thomas was cited and released.

• 2:25 a.m. — Carlos E. Calderon, 20, and Connor M. Lull, 20, were arrested for Minor Consumption of Alcohol after police were called to the 2300 block of E. Wilcox. Both were cited and released.

• 2:52 a.m.— Megan N. Hampton, 24, was arrested on an allegation of driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 1200 block of East Fry. The vehicle was towed and impounded for 30 days. Hampton was cited and released.

• 8:02 a.m. — A resident reported theft from the Best Western, 3460 E. Fry Blvd. The victim left an iPod Touch on the counter and it was taken. It was later recovered.

• 10:20 a.m. — A resident in the 300 block of North Seventh reported a hit-and-run accident. The vehicle struck a garage while making a turn at Seventh and Theater.

• 11:30 a.m. — A two-vehicle noninjury accident was reported in the 1300 block of Terra. The vehicle was backing from a driveway and struck a vehicle parked in the roadway.

• 4:18 p.m. — A resident in the 1000 block of North Seventh reported threatening/intimidating. The victim was reportedly being harassed by her husband.

• 5:39 p.m. — A report of domestic violence in the Sierra Vista Police Department parking lot. Two individuals making a custody exchange in the parking lot had an incident with one another. The case is being forwarded to the county attorney’s office for review.

• 6:17 p.m. — A burglary was reported in the 400 block of South Garden. The suspect took money and other items.

• 8:21 p.m. — Two juveniles were referred on allegations of shoplifting and released to their parents after police were called to Sears, 2250 El Mercado Loop. The juveniles are accused of stealing three undergarments.

• 8:30 p.m. — Three juveniles were referred and released on allegations of criminal damage after police were called to the area of the 2000 block of Santa Teresa. The juveniles are accused of going to several residences and taking lawn ornaments, smashing them in the roadway.

• 11:02 p.m. — A juvenile was referred on an allegation of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at Busby and Third. The vehicle was towed and the juvenile was released to their parent.

Aug. 23

• 12:05 a.m. — An employee at Circle K, 95 Rainbow Way, reported shoplifting. Someone took a case of beer.

• 1:32 a.m. Sarah J. Bronson, 19, was arrested on an allegation of extreme driving under the influence of alcohol, minor driving while under the influence of alcohol, and minor consumption of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 3700 block of Martin Luther King Parkway. The vehicle was towed and impounded for 30 days. Bronson was cited and released.

• 1:40 a.m. — An assault was reported at Famous Sams, 2239 E. Fry Blvd. The victim was punched in the left eye. The case remains under further investigation at this time.

• 3:21 a.m. — An employee at Denny’s, 2397 E. Fry Blvd., reported theft of services. Someone fled prior to paying a $53.00 check.

• 4:31 a.m. — A resident reported theft of a vehicle from Paul’s Pub, 1805 Paseo San Luis. The victim’s GMC Canyon was taken from the parking lot. The vehicle was recovered at Garden Place Suites on Aug. 23 at 4:53 p.m.

• 8:30 a.m. — A robbery was reported on Nelson between Danser and Ryan. The incident occurred Aug. 20.

• 8:31 a.m. — A report of criminal damage in the 3000 block of Snead. Someone egged two vehicles and caused damage to the paint.

• 11:10 a.m. — A resident reported theft of a vehicle from Motel 6, 1551 E. Fry Blvd. A Ford F-250 was taken from the parking lot.

• 1:20 p.m. — A juvenile was referred and released on an allegation of criminal damage after police were called to the 70 block of Peterson. Someone had broken out three vehicle windows.

• 3:06 p.m.— Michael G. Hofman, 21, was arrested on an allegation of exhibition of speed after a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Avenida Cochise. Hofman was accused of traveling more than 30 mph over the speed limit. Hofman was cited and released.

• 3:59 p.m. — An 11-year old juvenile was referred and released on an allegation of theft at The Cove, 2900 Martin Luther King Parkway. This arrest is part of a special detail taking place at that location.

• 5:23 p.m. — Cristobal D. Diaz, 24, was arrested on an allegation of driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Las Brisas Way. Adrian Linares, 20, was arrested on an allegation of possession of marijuana during the same traffic stop. The vehicle was towed. Both were cited and released.

• 10:20 p.m. — Taylor J. Fletcher, 21, was arrested n an allegation of theft of services stemming from the incident reported on this date at 3:21 a.m. Fletcher was cited and released.

Aug. 24

• 8:20 a.m. — A resident in the 4000 block of Foothills reported violation of a court order. Someone was repeatedly contacting the victim in violation of a standing court order.

• 8:46 a.m. — An employee at Rent First, 156 W. Fry, reported criminal damage. Someone slashed two tires on the company vehicle.

• 11:37 a.m. — A resident in the 500 block of South Coronado reported possible identity theft.
• 1:54 p.m. — A resident reported a sexual assault. The case is being referred to Special Operations.

• 2:13 p.m. — Jennifer R. Perry, 31, was arrested on an allegation of probation violation for failure to comply and driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop at Charleston and Colombo. The vehicle was towed and impounded for 30 days.

• 2:30 p.m. — A report of domestic violence in the 1100 block of East Fry. Someone punched through a window when she became upset with her sister. The case remains under further investigation.

• 2:37 p.m. — Alexandra A. Ormsby, 26, was arrested on an allegation of possession of burglary tools and trespassing after police were called to the 10 block of East James on a report of vehicle burglary in progress. Ormsby was booked into the county jail.

• 2:49 p.m. — A two-vehicle noninjury accident was reported at Charleston and Fighting Colt. One of the drivers was cited on an allegation of failure to control speed to prevent a collision after running into the back of a vehicle that had stopped in front of it.

• 3:06 p.m. — A Fish and Game employee reported theft at Ridge Crest and Southridge. Someone took a camera while the employee was trying to apprehend a bear.

• 3:50 p.m. — Craig D. Summers, 45, was arrested on an allegation of interfering with judicial proceedings after turning himself in. Summers was cited and released on an allegation of contacting the victim in violation of the standing court order.

• 3:52 p.m. A resident reported theft of a cell-phone at Buena High School, 5225 E. Buena School Blvd. The victim believes it was taken during physical education class.

• 3:56 p.m. — Fahmi O. Alhajjar, 21, was arrested on a warrant out of the state Department of Public Safety alleging failure to appear on a charge of driving with a suspended license after a two-vehicle noninjury accident was reported at Seventh and Busby. police alleged Alhajjar failed to yield from a stop sign and ran into a vehicle, pushing it into a wall at the Sierra Grande Mobile Home Park. Alhajjar was cited with failure to yield from the stop sign and driving without a valid driver’s license. He was booked into the county jail.

• 8:43 p.m. — Katherine T. Grycza, 22, was arrested on an accusation of domestic violence/criminal damage in the 6000 block of E. Hwy. 90, stemming from the incident reported at 2:30 p.m. this date. Grycza was cited and released.

Aug. 25

• 1:30 a.m. — An employee at Express Stop, 2632 E. Fry Blvd. reported shoplifting. The suspects took a bag of Cheetos and beef jerky.
