With the release of Dragonheir: Silent Gods Season 4, the game introduces a comprehensive array of updates and challenges to its bosses and dungeons. While every season sees adjustments to boss skills, Season 4 comes with a rather large overhaul for several of the dungeons.

In this article we aim to provide a detailed examination of these changes, equipping players with the knowledge to navigate and excel in the upcoming season.

Grave of Venom

New Mechanics:

  • Shadow Poison [Passive]: In addition to the previous passive, this skill has gained an extra effect, granting the Deadly Harpy 1 stack of [Damage Reduction] (15% Reduction) for each shield active on the Flame of Elements).
  • Poisonous Fletching [Skill 1]: This skill no longer dispels 1 debuff from all allies, instead, grants [Shield] buffs to all allies – each time a shield is broken, the Deadly Harpy will receive damage equal to 3% of its Max HP.
  • Wrath of Demon Bird [Skill 2]: This skill now hits ALL Enemies, and dispels 1 buff from them.

Combat Tips:

  • Focus on breaking [Shield] buffs quickly to avoid prolonged battles – or bring [Shield Prohibition] Debuffs
  • Manage debuffs effectively to reduce the Flame of Element’s trigger chance.
  • Positioning is no longer relevant in Grave of Venom, this gives the opportunity to stack up to gain benefits from heroes such as Frurbath, or Nathaniel who heal in a close proximity to themselves.

New Mechanics:

  • Blood Gush [Passive]: The Boss has gained a brand new passive skill,Each buff increases the boss’s recharge speed by 10%, while each debuff decreases it by 10%.
  • Rage of Blood [Skill 1]: This skill will additionally buff [Accuracy Bonus II] on top of the existing 2 buffs.
  • Punishment of Blood [Skill 2]: This skill will no longer dispel the target’s [Shield], instead it will steal 2 buffs from the target.
  • Vampiric Shield [Skill 3]: Interestingly, the biggest mechanic of this boss is gone, it no longer gains a [Shield] buff on this skill. Instead, if your heroes possess less than 2 buffs, there is a 100% chance for the boss to inflict a [Stun] debuff for 5.0s. and the boss gains 20% recharge time.

Combat Tips:

  • Bring ample debuffs to manage the boss’s buffs and recharge speed.
  • Ensure all team members have buffs to avoid the [Stun] effect.
  • [Buff Prohibition] or Buff Removal will be vital.
  • Resistance may be necessary on the target of Punishment of Blood [Skill 2].

Grave of Rot

New Mechanics:

  • Source of Filth [Passive]: This skill has been completely reworked, rather than placing [Poison] debuffs or gaining increased damage based on debuffs, damage dealt now converts to corrosion. At 50% corrosion, enemies die instantly. 30% of Overhealing will reduce Corrosion amounts.
  • Putrid Breath [Skill 1]: This skill no longer places 5 Stacks of [Poison].
  • Rotting Assault [Skill 2]: This skill has changed completely, It will now attack the enemy that granted the most healing and nearby enemies, inflicting them with a [Stun] debuff for 5.0s.
  • Greedy Hunt [Skill 3]: This skill will no longer remove buffs from the devoured target, however, it will inflict Corrosion that equals 80% of the current damage dealt to all other enemies without [Shield] buffs.

Combat Tips:

  • Keep an eye on your corrosion, you will want to ensure you have plenty of overhealing to reduce its levels to avoid reaching 50%.
  • Position healers strategically to avoid widespread stuns.
  • Bring[Shield] buffs to prevent the Greedy Hunt [Skill 3] from inflictingcorrosion on the whole team.

Heretical Ruins

  • Nirvana [Skill 3]: Any damage the boss receives during [Invisibility] is converted into 100% Healing
  • Fire of Dead Phoenix [Skill 4]: The Phoenix will now dispel all debuffs from the Hatchlings, and grant them [Control Immunity] for 12.0s.

Combat Tips:

  • Time debuffs carefully to avoid them being removed.
  • Time your damage carefully to avoid hitting Hatchlings with [Damage Reduction].
  • Avoid inflicting AOE Damage to the Phoenix whilst it has [Invisibility] OR Bring [Heal Reduction] debuffs.

New Mechanics:

  • Berserker’s Wrath [Skill 1 and 3]: In Shield form, the boss will now gain a [+10% Max HP] [Shield] Buff for 20.0s if successfully landing the [Stun] debuff.
  • Devouring Shadows [Skill 2 and 4]: When switching to Sword Form, the boss will convert any [Shield] on him into HP.

Combat Tips:

  • Prepare to counter both shield and sword forms effectively.
  • Positioning is crucial to avoid the [Stun] effect and subsequent [Shield],the furthest target will be hit with this skill.
  • Avoiding the [Stun] is now significantly more important due to the healing the boss will gain, if you are unable to prevent it – be ready to burst or remove the shield.
